Conor Foley, Chief Executive Officer
Conor is co-founder and Chief Executive of WorldSpreads Group. Prior to establishing WorldSpreads he had 11 years of experience in the financial services sector. Conor has a Masters Degree (M.A.) in Economics from University College, Dublin. He was Chief Dealer with Smurfit Paribas Bank from 1995-1998 (having joined the bank in 1989) with overall responsibility for the risk management of the bank's foreign exchange. He has twice been shortlisted by Ernst & Young for Entrepreneur Of The Year in Ireland.
Lindsay McNeile, Executive Director
Lindsay McNeile was a co-founder and former Managing Director of The Sporting Index Group, the largest sports spread betting company in the UK. Prior to joining WorldSpreads London in an executive capacity, he was Managing Director of Global Currencies Limited, a City of London based company which specializes in trading exotic currencies in emerging markets. He was educated at Eton College, University of Pennsylvania and the Sorbonne, Paris.
Niall O’Kelly, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary
Niall O’Kelly qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1993. In 1994 he joined Trinity Biotech plc, a NASDAQ and Irish Stock Exchange listed company, as Group Financial Controller. During this time he was very actively involved in the corporate finance side of the business and worked a number of fundraisings, acquisitions and the entry to the Irish Stock Exchange. Following his departure from Trinity Biotech, Niall joined an emerging technology Company, Magnetic Solutions, as CFO, before joining WorldSpreads in 2004.
Michael Foley, Director of Business Development
One of the original founders of WorldSpreads, Michael is responsible for the development of WorldSpreads Irish business and emerging European markets. Michael previously worked with Trinity Biotech Plc, from 1994–2000 and holds a BSC in Financial Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin.
Michael O’Loan, Head Dealer - London
Mike O’Loan spent more than 15 years dealing in the international Money Markets before moving into spread trading in 2004. He has a particular interest in off balance sheet derivatives and risk management products. He worked for Bank Brussels Lambert for 7 years and ran one of the dealing desks in their London trading room. Prior to that he traded Interest Rates and foreign exchange for Barclays Bank in both London and Tokyo.
